FS19 mods showcase: The Manitou MLT 840 Telehandler by Giants Software, converted to Farming Simulator 19 by E.T.A La Marchoise. For everyone looking for the download link, it’s located at the end of this presentation.
The Manitou made its Farm Sim debut in FS17. In the newest version of the game, it was replaced by the MLT 737. Now, it’s back, thanks to modders.
Sidenote: The Manitou company was started in France in 1957 by Marcel Braud. Today, its forklifts and telehandlers can be found all over the world.
The FS19 version of the MLT 840 has kept many of its predecessor’s key features. It has trailer hitches at both the rear and the front. And a total of 4 different steering options:
- All-wheel steering
- Front-wheel steering
- Crab steering (left and right.)
It also has a longer telescopic arm than most FS19 base game telehandlers. Only the MLT 737’s boom has a slightly longer reach.
The FS19 version has a new feature that wasn’t available with the previous model. You can buy work lights for the end of the boom inside the shop.
