The excellent looking Case IH 1660 was introduced to digital farmers in Farming Simulator 17. During the pre-release leading up to FS19, it was nowhere to be seen. Fans of the older Case combine got worried: Had Giants actually forgot about their favorite grain collector?
Turns out, they didn’t need to worry. On the same day FS19 was the released, the good ol’ 1660 showed up in all its glory: As a mod.

So here it is. Finally! The FS19 comeback of the FS17 starter combine. And the harvesting favorite of many digi-farmers: The Case IH 1660.
Phew! I was worried it wouldn’t make the jump from 17 to 19. Luckily it has turned up as a mod to be found on the official modhub (link below).
Of course, there’s a header too. The Case IH 1030 is available as a mod, also (you can download it here.) If you want to harvest corn with the 1660, you can use the base game Ziegeler Corn Champion header.
I think the engine sound is the most noticeable change going from the FS17 version. The ‘overhauled’ version of the 1660 sounds really good. It’s cool to hear how the engine revs up when the combine gets working.
And to all you animation fans: You can look forward to some really nice cab animations. The throttle, for example.
